Henry Holland always delivers perfectly when it comes to creating something fun & vibrant and this year he did just that. A cohesive collection of punchy prints, sparkling brocades and lace
dresses. A strong vision of a kind of grunge princess? His huge mix of metallics, sheers and tie dye fabrics work brilliantly with his huge injection of colour going throughout his collection. He paired his outfits with some really gorgeous accessories too,
Slouchy golden boots and beanie hats covered in boiled-sweet-sized
crystals. HH has this really well thought out and produced a strong collection. Pieces which can be worn together or separately.
As it being Summer I am completely inspired by bold prints & bright colours.
I have recently just done another post inspired by fruit and how you can inject colour into your wardrobe without being too full on and over the top Fruit & Summer post
I like showing the conversion from Catwalk to High-street it can be really simple and alot more reasonably priced. Here I have gone for a more subtle approach to pattern and colour, something which could be worn throughout the day with flats and dressed up at night time with these metallic heels (Similar to HH Metallic footwear trend.) I wanted to show mixed textiles and texture so I combined this whole outfit with a leather embellished clutch come shoulder bag which brings the whole outfit together perfectly.
Here I have gone for a more vibrant and bold approach to colour, this is colour blocking using one bold colour as a base and building from it. Here I have chosen zesty lime which is a S/S on trend colour for this year. I paired the skirt with a boxy short sleeved blouse inspired by HH use of sheer short sleeved blouses. All accessories are metallic just like HH catwalk collection. Paired with a Barbie pink lipstick.
