The start of this year has already been such a roller-coaster in terms of things changing at home and my surroundings. I had such a lovely Christmas and New Year, despite the fact I was working overtime to help my holiday funds for the near future. I am looking for some work experience for this year either in journalism or retail, I want to mix it up a little and try something different as this will expand my networking.
- I was extremely lucky this Christmas and received some beautiful gifts so I thought I would show some of my favourites.
My talented mum made me these super fab slippers! Not only did I need new slippers but nobody will have the same as these, they are so pretty and not forgetting they are super comfy and work a winter must have.
This year I did not really ask for gifts, I just suggested things I had been lusting over for a long time. Victoria Secret items are always something I love and are the way to my heart! I was super lucky and received this amazing bombshell perfume, it smells beautiful and after one spray it lasts forever. So worth the money and looks beautiful as a bedroom or dressing table accessory.
One of my new years resolutions is to start writing a journal/diary again, it is something I love doing and reading back on after the year has finished. Last year I did begin to write a diary but half way through the year I stopped and became lazy with writing, something which I now regret. So many amazing things happened last year and alot of things changed my life dramatically I just wish I had noted them down. This is my chance to write about my amazing year ahead and keep up with my writing skills.
Another thoughtful gift I received was this amazing light up globe, I have a passion to travel and see the world with my boyfriend so this was the perfect gift. This globe is inspirational and motivation kick start to save up and work towards travelling. So exciting!
When it comes to nail varnishes I tend to go overboard with my collection, I love them! My mum bought me a very cool gift, something which was very funny and made me smile when opening it. Beautiful nail polishes.. With my name on!
I was very lucky to be gifted with a gorgeous fluffy dog onesie to lounge around in over the cold months. This is a bedtime wardrobe essential and I shall continue to wear this until it falls apart. I love it so so much.
I hope you liked this post, I shall be posting as much as possible and I will soon be back into a routine again.
Happy New Year x
